Motor Oil is made from corn and a little bit of wheat. This gives it the flavor notes similar to whiskey. In everyday speech, we call this wannabe whiskey. Drink it straight, like a little sipper, or try mixing it in cocktails - it goes great with ginger ale or ginger beer.
Chain Oil is made from corn and a little bit of wheat. It is then quick-aged with American white oak - and finally flavored with sweet Finnish licorice. The notes from the oak along with the licorice give it a wonderful balance, and at 25%, it warms you up just right. Be careful! It's a highly addictive drop. You will be surprised by how delicious Moonshine is - and it will complement any bar cabinet and workshop, and any inner pocket or motorcycle bag.
ABOUT THE MOONSHINE PRODUCT SERIES What characterizes Moonshine is that there are absolutely no rules. And we like that at Knaplund Distillery. Therefore, we have created a series under the name Roadhouse Moonshine. This series of Moonshine is aged with American white oak. Just like whiskey, this means that it has the color and notes of whiskey. The difference is only that it has not aged for the 3 years required to be called whiskey. Karl has learned a few tips and tricks from the dear Moonshiners he knows from Discovery on his trips to the USA. So the aging method has also been played with. And of course, the series is disguised as oil - in a cool tin can. Moonshine has now stepped out of the woods. It is characterized as a clear unaged whiskey with a rebel inside. It's whiskey's little brother, not subject to the strict rules of its big brother - and it's more playful. It's the Wild West distilled.
